Jim Studer, PRESIDENT & CEO

ChemRem International LLC was founded in 2006 by Mr. Jim Studer as an Arizona Corporation and is the authorized North American manufacturer’s representative for FMC Corporation.   Jim is the chief executive and lead technical sales professional providing technical support on numerous projects across the United States and Canada.  He has been intimately involved in every technical sales engagement involving ChemRem and has earned a reputation for detailed support to ChemRem customers. FMC views ChemRem as an extension of their environmental team and they include ChemRem in product development and testing activities.

Jim obtained a B.S. and M.S. in Geological Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (UMR), which was renamed to Missouri University of Science & Technology in 2008.  He has 23 years of professional experience with advanced site characterization, soil and groundwater remediation design and execution, technology development, and dispute-resolution. 

Jim is a registered professional engineer in numerous states and participates in local to international professional societies and organizations including NGWA/AGWSE, ASCE, AEHS, GRA of California, and others. He has been the recipient of many academic scholarships, professional society awards, and other recognitions.  He also has been published in journals, international symposium proceedings, and books, and he gives platform and poster presentations in many venues.
